We had a very productive meeting tonight. Richard is emailing the terrific invitation that Joanne wrote and designed. We stuffed envelopes tonight which will be mailed by Saturday.
The great news is that the price per person is $50 per person. The Class is supplementing the cost with $1,000 in our bank account. This is a $20 contribution per person by the Class of 1970.
We would love to fill the room with classmates, so please, please spread the word. The room comfortably accommodates about 80 people. Let's make this event happen! (If we don't get enough Class of 1970 attendees, we will actively recruit Class of 1969 members.
The menu will be posted online (it's fabulous) and it includes a 3 hour open bar. The dress is absolutely ANYTHING you want to wear - casual or dressed up.

How about posting a photo of the HS with pretty weather on the site? And, how about an update on the status of who is coming?
Ask and you shall receive, but I don't know if I want to list names as some may object to their names being listed on a publicly accessible blog. We have over 60 people planning to come so far. If you want the list, click on comments and give me your eamil(which I will not publish) and I will send you the list. 41 have paid and they repesent a wide variety of poeple, not just a particular social group.
